Absolute Poker Review
Absolute Poker: Absolute poker is one the larger online poker rooms that allows US players. They are the main skin on their own absolute poker network and are known for their excellent bonuses. They have a generous initial bonus offer and almost always have some reload bonuses available for current players. A VIP program is also available.
Promotions: Excellent promotions are Absolute’s draw. Reload bonuses abound along with other constantly changing promotions.
Traffic: Absolute poker has a fair amount of traffic at all times giving you the flexibility to play ring games, SNG or MTT’s pretty much round the clock for a range of limits and buyins. Although not one of the largest rooms, absolute is near the bottom end of the top 10. Traffic at microlimits is also available if you are looking to just get your feet wet.
Players: This may be the one major drawback you will encounter at absolute. Since players have an almost constant influx of bonus money that must be cleared by playing before it is the players to keep for good, many of the players are very rockish just looking to clear their bonuses and this can make the going slow.
Software: Although the software looks nice and once you are at the table has a good look/feel with customizable feature and multi-table support, along with instant hand histories, it does have a history of taking up a lot of resources and locking up, with slow lobby refresh rates.
Deposit/Cashout/Transfer: Deposit options currently include, Neteller, UK debit cards, bank wire, UKash, paysafecard, CLICK2PAY, Fast Bank Transfer, Moneybookers, Visa and Mastercard. Cashouts, however are a bit different. If you used a credit card to deposit you can withdrawal by check for a small fee. Minimum withdrawal is $50 and you must have made a deposit to withdrawal. Other withdrawal procedures are that if you use a particular method to deposit funds, they are credited back to that method.
Security: Absolute takes their security very seriously and use advanced data encryption for their poker servers. They are licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and have had their RNG independently verified. They also have monitoring software to help track collusion.
Support: Customer support is done through email only however it is available 24/7 and is usually responded to promptly.
